Description

Sodium Alginate (E401) is a food-grade thickener, stabilizer, and gelling agent derived from brown seaweed found off the coasts of the North Atlantic, South America, and Asia. It appears as a white powder or granular form and is recognized for its effectiveness in thickening, stabilizing, gelling, and film-forming applications. This versatile hydrocolloid is widely utilized in the food industry for its reliable and consistent performance.
