Description

Glyceryl Monostearate (GMS), also known as E471, is a food-grade emulsifier widely used to improve emulsification, texture, stability, and processing performance in a variety of food applications. It effectively promotes the uniform dispersion of oil and water phases, enhances product consistency, and helps extend shelf life. Due to its excellent compatibility and functional properties, Glyceryl Monostearate is commonly used in bakery products, dairy products, confectionery, beverages, and nutritional formulations.

Application:
1) Used as an emulsifier in bakery products to improve dough handling, crumb structure, softness, and shelf life.
2) Applied in ice cream, whipped toppings, and dairy products to improve emulsification, stability, and texture while reducing ice crystal formation.
3) Used in confectionery, chocolate, and candy products to improve processing performance and product consistency.
4) Incorporated into beverages and nutritional formulations to stabilize emulsified systems and improve mouthfeel.
5) Used in margarine, shortening, sauces, and dressings to enhance emulsion stability and prevent oil separation.
6) Applied in instant foods and powdered products to improve dispersibility and processing characteristics.
7) Suitable for pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulations as an emulsifier and stabilizing agent where food-grade quality is preferred.
