CHAGA & REISHI
TRIPLE-EXTRACTED SCANDINAVIAN CHAGA MUSHROOM
CHAGA (Inonotus obliquus) is a fungus, resembling burnt charcoal, that can be found growing on birch trees (Betula alba andBetula pubescens subsp. Czerepanovii) only in very cold habitats. It is, in fact, not the fruiting body of the fungus, but a sclerotia or mass of mycelium, mostly black due to the presence of massive amounts of melanin. FINCHAGA™ Chaga extract is sourced wild from organic harvesting areas from Lapland of Finland. Raw material is processed in low temperatures in order to maintain all valuable compounds and harvesting and processing are designed to be as ecological as possible - No chemicals or preservatives are used during the manufacturing process.
Chaga extract has extraordinary ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) and it is a strong antioxidant. Over the past 40 years, over 1600 scientific studies of Chaga have been conducted. Extract contains over 200 phytonutrients, some of the various bioactive compounds including polysaccharides, phenolic compounds, minerals, vitamins and lanostane triterpenoids. Chaga has already long been used in traditional Scandinavian and Siberian medicine.
